Rabbi Dr. Gidon Rothstein has served at posts in the congregational rabbinate and Jewish education, classroom and adult.  His works of fiction, Murderer in the Mikdash and Cassandra Misreads the Book of Samuel take classical Jewish themes and investigate them with a modern eye.  He currently blogs at www.webyeshiva.org on the core mission of Orthodox Judaism and the room it leaves for personal decisions about how to serve God. Rabbi Rothstein lives in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, with his wife and three children.
