Summer Torah Enrichment Program

This week I have something very exciting to share with you. Adath Israel has received a “Seed Grant” from Torah Umesorah - The National Society for Hebrew Day Schools. The purpose of the grant is to enable four yeshiva students to spend two weeks of their summer vacation studying Torah with people in San Francisco. Therefore, I’m going to call the program “The A.I. Summer Torah Enrichment Program” (S.T.E.P.).

The S.T.E.P. students will be in the Sunset from Tuesday July 29th – Monday August 11th. They will be available for study twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. For those who have the time, you can study with the S.T.E.P. students right after shacharit. For those for whom evenings work better, we plan to regularly daven mincha at 7:45pm followed by an hour of learning and concluding with ma’ariv at 9:00pm. If you have trouble leaving your home, the S.T.E.P. students will be happy to come to you.

In addition, the S.T.E.P. students will be available over two Shabbatot and will lead afternoon classes on a variety of topics before Mincha. They will also play a major part in our Tisha B’Av programming.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. In order to efficiently utilize the S.T.E.P. students’ time with us, please let me know when would be a good time for you to set up study sessions and what type of content you’d like to study.
